Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 to fabricate and assemble window components for final assembly. Start time is 7am; candidate will operate hand tools, lift and move windows, and assist in cross-rotation across departments.

The role requires reading shop data, adherence to safety guidelines, and participation in training. Full-time hours include benefits and opportunities for development within a large North American manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32 inch.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret data, productivity reports.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble window units.
• Lift windows onto tables and racks.
• Move carts in and out of production areas.
• Cut wood with saws and prepare components.
• Apply hardware with appropriate tooling.
• Use production reports for planning and quality audits.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Cross-train with other operators as needed.
