Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 to support the fabrication and assembly of window components across multiple production areas. You will operate hand tools, lift and move units, and follow safety guidelines while maintaining quality through audits.

The role requires basic math, measurement accuracy to 1/32 inch, and the ability to read production data. You’ll join a team with cross-training and opportunities for development in a full-time, union-adjacent

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions
• Ability to read and interpret statistical data, productivity reports, and draw valid conclusions
• Capable of using computerized equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble window units.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
• Move carts in and out of production areas.
• Operate saws to cut wood and mull units; use fabrication dies.
• Apply hardware to units with appropriate tooling.
• Operate stretch wrapping equipment.
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning.
• Perform quality audits to ensure quality; engage in problem solving.
• Observe safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Participate in cross-rotation and assist training.
