Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of the Carolinas and Southwest Virginia is seeking an Installation Technician. You will handle installation and upkeep of windows and doors, delivering exceptional customer service and aligning with company strategy. This role requires strong communication and hands-on problem solving.

You will work in a physically demanding environment, lift heavy loads, and coordinate with service teams to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction/maintenance, building material, or similar field experience.
• Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100+ lbs.) throughout the day.
• Must be able to work from ladders and scaffolding.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and upkeep of windows and doors within two years of installation.
• View daily dashboard to manage workload and ensure installations are efficient.
• Serve as field contact for service team and installers, ensuring third-party work meets specs.
• Communicate project progress with customers and Installation team via reports and photos.
• Diagnose issues and determine repair paths for windows and doors, explaining actions to customers.
