Job summary

Southern Industries Home Improvement is seeking an experienced installer to professionally measure, cut, and fit windows, doors, siding, and roofing materials on residential projects in Knoxville.

You will work with a reliable production team, maintain safety, and deliver quality results on every site while earning a strong commission plus solid benefits as a W2 employee.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing windows, doors, roofs, gutters, siding or related home-improvement installations (minimum 2 years preferred).
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Professionally measure according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
• Accurately measure, cut, and fit materials for a precise finish.
• Demonstrate craftsmanship and attention to detail on every installation.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on every jobsite.
• Coordinate materials, scheduling, and inspections with production staff.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and report issues promptly.
• Represent Southern Industries in a professional manner on site.

What You’ll Do:

• Professionally measure according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards
• Accurately measure, cut, and fit materials for a clean, precise finish
• Demonstrate craftsmanship and attention to detail in every installation
• Communicate clearly with homeowners to ensure a positive customer experience
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on every jobsite
• Collaborate with our production staff to coordinate materials, scheduling, and inspections
• Ensure timely completion of projects and report any issues or delays promptly
• Represent Southern Industries in a professional manner while on site

What You Need:

• Proven experience in installing windows, doors, roofs, gutters, siding, or experience in the home improvement industry (minimum 2 years preferred)
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift to 100 lbs., work at heights, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the jobsite
• Willingness to comply with background checks and drug screening if required
