Job summary

Southern Industries Home Improvement is seeking an experienced Installer to join our Knoxville team. You will measure, cut, and fit materials per manufacturer guidelines and company standards, delivering high-quality installations on windows, doors, roofs, gutters, siding, and more.

As a W2 employee you’ll receive a comprehensive benefits package and steady year-round work from a production team focused on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Valid drivers license required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing windows, doors, roofs, gutters, siding
• Experience in the home improvement industry (minimum 2 years preferred)
• A valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

• Professionally measure according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards
• Accurately measure, cut, and fit materials for a clean, precise finish
• Demonstrate craftsmanship and attention to detail in every installation
• Communicate clearly with homeowners to ensure a positive customer experience
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on every jobsite
• Collaborate with our production staff to coordinate materials, scheduling, and inspections
• Ensure timely completion of projects and report any issues or delays promptly
• Represent Southern Industries in a professional manner while on site

What You’ll Do

What You Need

• Proven experience in installing windows, doors, roofs, gutters, siding, or experience in the home improvement industry (minimum 2 years preferred)
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to lift to 100 lbs., work at heights, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the jobsite
• Willingness to comply with background checks and drug screening if required
