Job summary

Nidec Drives is seeking a Winding Technician to ensure a proficient, quality-driven flow in winding and storing fibrous material. You will inspect and test during rewind, follow EASA standards, and maintain equipment daily to support efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated to work independently with high regards to quality of product.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, document and communicate all findings during the rewind process.
• Test condition of winding according to EASA standards.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment.
• Prepare all reusable parts for rewind and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions.
• Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding.
• Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines.
• Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product.
