Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a Winding Technician for the First Shift in the United States. The role focuses on ensuring a smooth rewind process with safety and quality at the forefront, winding and storing fibrous material as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting and testing results, following EASA standards, and maintaining equipment. A high school diploma and 0–2 years in manufacturing are expected, with emphasis on teamwork and attention to quality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated to work independently with high regards to quality of product.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, document and communicate all findings during the rewind process
  • Test condition of winding according to EASA standards
  • Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment
  • Prepare all reusable parts for rewind and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions
  • Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding
  • Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines
  • Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product
