Job summary

ABB is seeking a BWS Operator on the 2nd shift to support production targets on the shop floor. You will configure and run winding machines, load materials, and set CNC parameters to meet specs.

You will monitor performance, inspect outputs for quality, perform routine upkeep, and uphold safety while collaborating with maintenance, quality, and production teams in an onsite work model.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year of manufacturing experience or military service or relevant vocational/technical training.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to work any assigned shift.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus; able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks; lift up to 50 lbs; operate machinery; wear PPE.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with noise and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and run winding machines (set parameters, load materials, adjust CNC settings) to meet production specs.
• Track machine performance, identify issues, and inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
• Perform routine upkeep, replace worn components, and escalate complex problems.
• Follow safety procedures, record production data, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams.
