Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Columbus, MS facility. You will support the winding department, operate shop floor machinery, and ensure production targets are met by following technical diagrams and assembly instructions.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months of industrial experience (military service or vocational/technical courses also acceptable).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of industrial type experience or military service; related coursework considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment on the shop floor to meet production targets.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
• Follow safety guidelines and report safety issues as required.
• Train or perform multiple positions within the winding department.
