Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to join our Manufacturing Technical Group, supporting winders, finishing assets, and paper-making processes across North America. Qualifikationen

• Knowledge in paper-making equipment: finishing end equipment, winders, reels, roll handling.
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams, layout drawings, and mechanical drawings.
• Proven ability to lead, communicate with, and mentor others in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Willing to work in environments with platforms, elevated temperatures, and variable humidity.
• Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays when needed.

Aufgaben

• Act as Change Agents with hourly and salaried staff to identify improvement opportunities across processes, people and equipment.
• Coordinate and lead efforts to return asset performance to the optimized base case with third-party support and internal resources as needed.
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of new or upgraded assets.
• Assist asset owners in prioritizing lists of improvement opportunities for their assets based on business need.
• Work with SMEs and operations teams to develop standardized operating and maintenance strategies for similar assets.
• Provide mentoring support for hourly, salaried engineering and operations personnel.
• Assist in planning outage activities with operations to ensure desired results.
• Apply SME knowledge to support short-term technical requests across multiple facilities.
• Support trials of new process technology and equipment and assess applicability.
