Your Impact:

Pearce is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician I with a commitment to excellence, a strong desire to succeed, and eagerness to learn new skills using established procedures, with utmost regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a Field Service Wind Technician I, you will perform daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor servicing, and repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment. This position involves 100% travel.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
2. Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, following the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
3. Complete and maintain required documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools.
4. Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas, including sweeping and wiping oil, grease, and solvent spills.
5. Perform other daily tasks as directed by supervisor with general supervision.

Core Experience:

1. Less than two years of experience in wind maintenance.
2. Graduate from an accredited trade school or relevant mechanical/electrical experience.
3. Ability to work within confined spaces, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
4. Knowledge of various hand and power tools.
5. Ability to meet customer and company standards, including following project schedules.

At Pearce, safety is our top priority. Candidates must comply with OSHA/DOT standards.

1. Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
2. Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
3. Lift and move equipment weighing more than 50 pounds.
4. Work outdoors or indoors in adverse weather conditions with pollen, dust, and grasses.
