Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of technical experience or education in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights >80 meters (250 feet).
• Must be able to lift/move up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Weight restrictions apply (<=120 kg/265 lbs with gear).
• Requires valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbines and related equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily using safety gear to inspect, maintain, or repair components.
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of turbine systems and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot faults; repair or replace components as needed.
• Maintain tools, facilities, and a safe, clean work environment.
• Work a 40-hour week with overtime during peak maintenance periods.
