Job summary

Invenergy Services LLC is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Miami Energy Center. The role includes routine maintenance on GE wind turbines and climbing towers daily to inspect and repair equipment.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, with overtime during peak periods. Base pay ranges 29.49–49.97 USD per hour, with potential bonus and a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of technical experience or relevant education.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and related equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily, using safety gear to inspect, maintain or repair equipment.
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of all turbine components.
• Troubleshoot faults and replace components as needed.
• Maintain tools, facilities, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Work a 40 hour week with possible overtime during peak periods.
