Job summary

TAKKION is seeking a Wind Technician to inspect, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines at partnered sites. You will climb towers, test electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and follow safety protocols.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and ability to work with a diverse team; GWO training preferred. Background checks and drug screening are required for this safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of maintenance experience.
• Active GWO Basic Safety Training certificate preferred.
• Able to understand and repair turbine mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers to inspect, troubleshoot, or repair turbine equipment.
• Test electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Replace worn components and perform maintenance per procedures.
• Complete and validate progress reports.
• Follow safety meeting and job safety analyses.
