Job summary

TAKKION is seeking a Wind Technician to inspect, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines at a local Nebraska site. You will climb towers, test electrical and hydraulic systems, and troubleshoot mechanical issues while working with experienced leadership and field teams.

Required: high school diploma and at least one year of maintenance experience; experience with Acciona AW3000 is a plus; safety training preferred. Must be able to work beyond normal hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related maintenance experience.
• Experience working on Acciona AW3000 platforms is a plus.
• Active GWO Basic Safety Training preferred.
• Ability to inspect, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical turbine systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines.
• Climb towers to inspect and repair turbine equipment.
• Test electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components and systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace worn parts.
• Complete safety checks and progress reports.
• Work with field teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.
