Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support the operation of our wind and solar fleet and photovoltaic assets. The role focuses on mechanical reliability, vibration analysis, and condition-based maintenance to improve uptime and extend component life across Pattern’s facilities in the field.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in wind reliability, experience with vibration data, and the ability to collaborate with OEMs and operations teams. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering required.
• 3–5 years wind industry reliability or vibration monitoring experience.
• Experience with fleetMONITOR or other diagnostics software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate mechanical equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Oversee RCA with OEMs and provide project management support.
• Perform vibration analysis and develop early detection methods.
• Provide technical support to field teams and guide inspections.
