Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead vibration analysis and condition monitoring across its wind and solar assets. The role focuses on diagnosing mechanical issues, performing root-cause analyses, and deploying predictive maintenance strategies to extend component life.

You will work with OEMs and field teams, utilizing advanced analytics, SCADA data, and diagnostic tools to ensure high availability and safe operations in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering (minimum).
• 3–5 years in wind mechanical reliability or vibration monitoring.
• Experience with fleetMONITOR or similar diagnostics software; familiarity with OEM hardware/software (Siemens/GE).

Responsibilities

• Investigate mechanical equipment failures and perform root cause assessments with containment actions.
• Coordinate with OEMs and provide project management support for RCA.
• Perform vibration analyses and develop methods for early fault detection in wind turbines.
• Monitor data-flow health and ensure high system availability and performance.
• Act as SME for wind turbine condition-based and predictive maintenance improvements.
