Pattern Energy is hiring a Reliability Engineer to provide SME guidance on wind turbine mechanical reliability and condition monitoring. You will lead vibration analysis, root-cause investigations, and collaboration with OEMs to improve component life.

The role requires field work, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional coordination to optimize fleet performance and availability across wind assets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years wind industry mechanical reliability/vibration analysis experience.
• Experience with Siemens/GE wind OEM hardware and software.
• Must be able to climb modern wind turbine without a lift or climb assist.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate mechanical equipment failures on Pattern’s operational assets and perform root cause assessments.
• Oversee RCA with OEMs for reliability-related issues.
• Perform vibration analysis and develop methods for early detection of failures.
• Monitor data flow health and ensure high system availability and performance.
• Act as SME for wind turbine condition-based and predictive maintenance methods.
