Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is looking for a Tiger Team Technician II to support regional wind farm operations. You will perform turbine maintenance, from bearing work to gearbox service, and assist with safety programs while coordinating with O&M staff.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma (associate degree preferred) and 4+ years in wind, solar, or BESS, with a manufacturing or electrical license encouraged. This is a full-time, permanent role with travel required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Wind or Mechanical preferred.
• Global Wind Organization Certificate preferred.
• 4+ years of wind/solar/BESS experience or 2/4 year technical degree with relevant license.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine maintenance including bearing, pitch ram, gearbox, and shaft work.
• Lead and conduct acceptance and performance tests after maintenance or outages.
• Travel up to 50% of the time and supervise safety and contractor activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; provide guidance to O&M team.
