Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tiger Team Technician II to support regional wind farm operations. The role covers maintenance including bearing, gearbox, and pitch/yaw components, with emphasis on safety, tool readiness, and technical guidance to the O&M team.

You will travel up to 50% of the time to field sites, work with a small team, and participate in safety training and performance testing while maintaining records and supporting site-level projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Wind/Mech preferred.
• GWO certificate preferred.
• Unrestricted driver license in good standing; willing to relocate within 1 hour of site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities are performed safely per site policies and procedures.
• Climb wind towers daily to perform maintenance on turbines.
• Perform turbine maintenance: bearing, pitch ram, gearbox, and shaft tasks; assist with software updates.
