Qualifikationen

• Minimum of five years’ experience in related work.
• Supervisory experience in a related construction field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain written documentation of daily activities.
• Flexible schedule; able to travel and work overtime.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Oversee one team during turbine erection phase.
• Establish morale; assign tasks; optimize cycle times for labor, equipment and materials.
• Demonstrate mastery of safety equipment, materials and processes; ensure inspections are completed.
• Inspect, maintain and demonstrate use of equipment; ensure safety gear is used.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager to monitor critical items affecting productivity and scheduling; plan daily/weekly labor, equipment, and materials.
• Understand and document QA requirements; record work processes and inspections to project standards.
• Assist the Construction Manager in day-to-day activities and in planning for changes in work sequence.
• Focus on crew safety and care of large equipment and cranes.
• Work with regional ironworker and operator unions.
• Participate in daily operational planning meetings to communicate the work plan.
• Position requires extensive travel and often long hours.
