Job summary

Renewable Concepts LLC seeks a highly skilled wind turbine technician with welding expertise to join our team in a lead welder trajectory. The role emphasizes high‑level welding across wind projects, safety, and collaboration with project managers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years welding and wind services experience, with the ability to read blueprints and work 50+ hours in demanding environments. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of welding experience.
• Two or more years of experience in wind services.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Welding School diploma preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and cutting tasks at elevated heights using appropriate equipment and safety measures.
• Complete weld repair in varying environmental conditions within various physical spaces.
• Prioritize safety by adhering to company and customer safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of welds.
• Select, prepare, and handle materials and consumables required for welding tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members to coordinate work and meet project deadlines.
• Operated various welding equipment, such as sticks, MIG, and TIG.
• Perform all mechanical and electrical component maintenance in accordance with specified procedures.
• Set up welding equipment, including gas cylinders, regulators, and power sources.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and welding plans.
