GE Vernova is seeking a part-time blade technician to trim, scuff and reinforce wind turbine blades. You will follow evolving work instructions, grind surfaces, repair defects, and apply adhesive in critical areas. Safety gear and 5S practices are required as you contribute to high-quality blade production.

The role supports the Onshore Wind segment and offers around 20 hours weekly with competitive pay and benefits. Candidates must be able to lift, stand, and operate basic tools on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Requires usage of respirator.
• Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.

Responsabilités

• Follow work instructions and adapt to updates.
• Scuff laminate surface with pneumatic grinder and remove defects.
• Apply glue to areas with voids inside and outside the blade.
• Maintain safe practices and 5S standards.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow health and safety guidelines.
