Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Blade Repair Services Technician II to join our wind energy team in the United States. The role involves blade repair and maintenance on wind turbines, climbing towers, and operating blade access equipment, with potential cross-manufacturer work (GE, Siemens, Vestas, Nordex).

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in power generation operations/maintenance, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and is capable of travel up to 100% for site mobilizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years in power generation operations/maintenance.
• Must pass GWO or obtain CDL if required.
• Willing to travel up to 100% to multiple worksites.
• Experience with blade damage assessment and repair.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ONE RWE values in daily duties.
• Perform safe blade repair and maintenance on wind turbines.
• Climb wind towers and operate blade access equipment.
• Assist in mobilization of repair equipment to sites.
• Coordinate with a multi-manufacturer blade repair team (GE, Siemens, Vestas, Nordex).
• Maintain QA/QC documentation.
