Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States seeks a manufacturing technician to trim, scuff and reinforce wind turbine blades. The role follows evolving work instructions, uses pneumatic grinders, applies glue to voids, and inspects laminate surfaces.

The candidate must lift up to 40 lbs, stand long hours, operate hand tools and heavy machinery, and wear a respirator. Lam I/II training is available; prior manufacturing experience is a plus. Benefits are provided, relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand on concrete floors.
• Experience with hand and power tools and basic machinery.
• Must be able to follow evolving work instructions.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Trim, scuff and reinforce blade types per work instructions.
• Operate pneumatic grinders and other tools to prepare laminate surfaces.
• Apply glue to voids and inspect laminate for defects.
• Maintain 5S standards and safety protocols.
• Follow confined space procedures and health guidelines.
