Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Chickasaw Wind Energy Center near New Hampton, IA. You will perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on Siemens Gamesa and GE turbines, climb towers daily in safety gear, and troubleshoot faults to keep equipment running efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of technical experience, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on Siemens Gamesa and GE wind turbines and equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily with safety gear to inspect, maintain or repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair or replace components.
