Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers the TOP Wind Service Technician development program. Trainees receive exclusive safety and technical training through GWO and work at wind sites near home as part of a service team ensuring safe, efficient turbine maintenance.

This full-time role reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
• Live within 1 hour commuting distance to job site
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent technical experience
• Mechanical or electrical background
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
