Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Miami Energy Center. The role requires working outdoors, climbing wind turbine towers, and performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE turbines and related equipment.

Responsibilities include inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs, with overtime during peak periods. A valid driver’s license and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Climb ladders and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
• Move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GE wind turbine and equipment.
• Inspect, maintain, or repair components at wind turbine towers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical faults and replace parts as needed.
• Manage tooling, facilities, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Work a 40-hour week with potential overtime during peak maintenance periods.
