Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is hiring for Wind Technician Level 1 to support on-site wind turbine maintenance. The role provides exclusive Global Wind Organization (GWO) accredited training and integrates with a service team for safe, efficient turbine work near home.

This full-time position reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with potential travel up to 25% and a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and continuous skill development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
