Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks a Wind Technician Level 1 to support turbine maintenance and safety-focused operations at wind sites near home. You’ll join a service team, receive exclusive GWO-accredited safety and technical training, and contribute to reliable power generation while advancing your skills in a growing renewable energy company.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hands-on learning, and a path to higher technician levels as you gain experience, with opportunities for travel and overtime

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
