Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a Wind Technician based in Pomeroy, WA to service and maintain wind turbines, troubleshoot issues, and support field operations. The role requires a HS diploma (associate's degree preferred), 6 months of mechanical/industrial experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass screenings.

Relocation or travel up to 25% may be offered. The base salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 per year, with benefits and a supportive team focused on energy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; driving is an essential function of the job.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial field; relevant maintenance/fixing experience.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot errors on wind turbine.
• Escalate technical issues to supporting engineering functions.
• Be self-motivated and able to address issues independently.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule is required; analyze and resolve issues.
