Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking an entry-level Wind Technician Level 1 as part of the TOP Wind Service Technicians program. You'll undergo GWO-accredited safety and technical training, join a service team, and perform preventive and repair work on wind turbine equipment at sites near your home.

You must meet basic qualifications including a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background and drug screens. Relocation or a short commute may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug checks.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, and understand English; climb previews may be required.
• Relocation to area or commute within 1 hour to the job site.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades per procedures.
• Demonstrate safe use of tools and equipment; operate as part of a service team.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery and components; document work performed.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and site policies.
• Willing to travel up to 25% and work at height on wind towers.
