Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Wind Technician III to support on-site wind farms in Livermore, CA. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of wind turbine components, focusing on safe operations and reliability.

The role requires climbing turbines, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. On-site work with standard safety practices; relocation possible; benefits available.

Qualifications

High School Grad / GED required.
Excellent physical ability to climb turbines up to 300 feet.
Valid driver’s license (non CDL) required.
Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval required.
Experience: 0+ years.

Responsibilities

Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
Applies basic understanding of the technical and process functions.
Manages own training schedules and meets all training requirements within designated time frames.
Able to meet attendance requirements.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
