Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking an entry-level Wind Technician III at Golden Hills Wind in Livermore, CA. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and component diagnostics to ensure turbine availability and safe site operations.

Ideal candidates will meet high school requirements and be able to climb wind turbines up to 300 feet. Base pay ranges from $51,200 to $76,800 annually, with starting pay based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Manages own training schedules and meets all training requirements.
