Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, Cisco, TX, is seeking a Wind Tech to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines and related equipment. Candidates should understand electrical and hydraulic systems, interpret fault reports, and maintain service logs for turbine performance.

As part of the team, you will work outdoors, climb towers up to 300 feet, and collaborate with internal teams to drive safe, reliable operations and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic wind

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a technical field or completion of a technical certificate/degree program.
• Ability to climb wind turbines up to 300 feet.
• Post-offer Functional Capacity Eval required.
• Valid Driver's License (non CDL).

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company equipment, facilities, and tooling.
• Demonstrates understanding of Quality Improvement processes.
• Provides oversight to other personnel and acts as a Safety Mentor.
• Meets attendance requirements and supports Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
