Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks a TOP Wind Technician Level 1 to join our Wind Service team, delivering exclusive safety and technical training and working at wind site locations near home to maintain turbines and generators with a focus on safety and efficiency.

As part of the Tech One Program, you will report to the Program Manager and Site Manager and gain hands-on experience through structured training in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships)
• Live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades
• Verify that the work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements
• Document all work performed
• Travel as required (up to 25%)
• Ability and willingness to work at heights and in all weather conditions
