Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines through maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely diagnostics. You’ll contribute to reliable energy for local communities, leveraging your mechanical or electrical background and safety-first mindset.

Candidate must have basic wind energy training or related experience, with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work at heights. English literacy and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Safety-conscious and committed to best practices.
• Able to work well with others in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to support task duration tracking.
