Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure reliable wind turbine operation, handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues. The role welcomes applicants from wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy machinery backgrounds.

Responsibilities include maintenance, safety inspections, and process improvements, with documentation of work and efficiency tracking. Strong English and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or wind turbine experience (min 6 months).
• 1 year wind turbine experience OR 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to support task tracking.
