Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks a Director of Projects to oversee nationwide repower campaigns. You will lead Site Managers, Project Managers, and field teams, build robust execution playbooks, and drive safety and productivity across projects.

You will coordinate with procurement, logistics, and engineering to optimize schedules, manage costs, and deliver high-quality results in a rapidly growing market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of wind energy, heavy construction, or industrial operations experience.
• 5+ years leading multi-site field execution teams.
• Direct experience with wind repower or major component replacement.
• Strong commercial, financial, and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop field teams across multiple project sites.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Optimize workforce planning and resource allocation across projects.
• Establish productivity benchmarks and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Own field readiness, training, certifications, and crew composition standards.
• Represent VP, Repower in customer meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
