Job summary

AVANGRID POWER, LLC in OR is seeking a Technical Trainer to support wind turbine operations and develop training programs across the fleet. The role collaborates with operations management, plant personnel, accounting, information systems, and supply chain to ensure training is effective and aligned with best practices.

Responsibilities include reviewing materials, delivering in-person and virtual trainings, coaching field staff, maintaining certifications, and traveling up to 40% to wind plants

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Oracle, SAP or other mainstream EAM systems.
• Minimum 3 years training in energy production related environment.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training using PowerPoint and virtual platforms (e.g., Teams).
• Advanced computer skills with EAM systems, MS Office, data management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review training materials and program effectiveness; implement improvements.
• Develop and deliver in-person, web-based, and self-paced training; promote best practices across the fleet.
• Train personnel in EAM, technical areas, safety, and operations.
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders to improve processes and training.
• Manage external trainers and coordinate training delivery at wind plants.
• Travel to wind plants and other locations as required.
• Maintain internal controls and stay current with certifications.
