Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC in the United States seeks a Wind Technical Trainer to support the wind turbine fleet, develop and implement training programs, and work with operations, accounting, IT, and supply chain to deliver optimized processes and learning.

The role includes delivering instructor‑led, in‑person, and online training, mentoring field personnel, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Travel approx. 40% is required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years experience with Oracle, SAP or other mainstream EAM systems.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training using PowerPoint and virtual platforms.
• Advanced computer skills with EAM, MS Office, data management and reporting.
• Drafts training programs and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review training materials and improve program effectiveness.
• Develop and deliver in-person, web-based, and self-paced training.
• Train personnel in EAM, technical areas, safety, and operations.
• Collaborate with management and staff to develop improvements and procedures.
• Manage external training professionals and coordinate travel to wind plants.
• Provide coaching and technical support to field personnel.
• Support workforce development by identifying knowledge gaps and solutions.
