Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to perform on-site turbine maintenance, diagnostics and repair across Idaho wind sites. The role emphasizes safety, quality control and timely service in coordination with the Site Lead and Manager.

Responsibilities include electrical/mechanical work, troubleshooting, and documentation of all activities. Candidates should have wind-related training or experience and be able to travel to multiple site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind experience or Wind Certificate/Associate’s in Energy.
• Passing Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer requirements daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist site operations with minimal supervision while observing safety requirements.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
