Job summary

GE Vernova is offering an internship in Schenectady, NY, focused on improving the reliability and safety of the Wind Turbine fleet. You will participate in retrofit implementations, engage with engineering to validate fixes, and coordinate parts orders with the global supply chain.

Current undergrad or graduate student enrollment is required. Strong MS Office skills and a basic understanding of engineering principles are expected, along with a proactive, ownership-minded attitude.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree.
• Good familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office tools.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles (electrical, mechanical, controls).
• Understanding of program management from parts ordering to installation in Wind Turbine.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation of retrofits into the Wind Turbine fleet.
• Engage with engineering to understand fixes and validate processes.
• Order parts and coordinate with global supply chain to avoid delays.
• Establish execution strategy and select suppliers.
• Ensure safety and quality of execution teams.
• Provide feedback to engineering as the program matures.
