RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Technician II to support safe and reliable operation across wind, solar, and battery energy storage assets. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose issues, and document activities in the CMMS while adhering to EHS standards and site policies.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, the ability to climb turbines, and a commitment to safety. On-call support and mentoring junior technicians are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or equivalent certification in renewable energy technology or electrical systems is a plus.
• Unrestricted driver's license.
• Must live within 1 hour drive time to site.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on technical experience in renewable energy, power generation, heavy industrial maintenance, or a closely related field.
• Wind Turbine experience preferred (Vestas, GE, Acciona, Nordex).
• Solar or battery energy storage system (BESS) maintenance experience.
• Military experience in a technical field is a plus.
• Possession of a Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Wind Technician certification or equivalent credentials encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Perform safe operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind, solar, and BESS assets.
• Conduct scheduled services, component replacements, and system testing.
• Diagnose and resolve moderate technical issues and support RCA for recurring problems.
• Document maintenance activities and performance in the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and site policies.
• Mentor Trainee and Associate Technicians and promote safety.
• Collaborate with team and maintain a safe work environment.
• On-call duties with rapid response and site attendance when required.
