Job summary

Siemens Gamesa, part of Siemens Energy, is seeking a Technical Project Specialist to lead technical escalation and coordination at wind farm facilities. You will focus on safe, productive operations and ensure contract profitability while meeting client expectations.

You’ll drive strategic initiatives, manage small to medium projects, and collaborate with Aftermarket Sales and Fleet Support to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 5 years of relevant training) in mechanics, electrics, electromechanics or engineering preferred.
• SAP expertise and proficiency with MS Office are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong critical thinking, organization and time management capabilities are needed.
• Solid troubleshooting skills are required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical escalation process for wind farm incidents and identify consistent faults.
• Assign activities to technical personnel based on criticality and client contracts; interact with customers and stakeholders.
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve service delivery, health, safety, environment and quality of turbines and personnel.
• Interface with Aftermarket Sales for special activities and support contract goals.
• Manage small to medium projects related to fleet upgrades and integrity, including modifications/usages.
• Support training for Case Management processes and utilize relevant systems.
