Job summary

Southern Power is seeking a Wind Site Manager for the Bethel facility in Castro County, TX. You will lead a team of technicians and contractors to manage daily operations, implement procedures, and ensure safe, compliant performance of a 276 MW wind facility with 120 GE turbines.

You will drive O&M activities, monitor KPIs, manage warranties, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain high standards of safety and reliability across the site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in wind energy.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications.
• Ability to climb turbine towers up to 120 meters, with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-site safety-conscious operations for BOP assets and monitoring.
• Oversee contracts related to operations and maintenance and warranties.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting per safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor facility performance against KPIs and coordinate with internal/external resources.
• Engage equipment suppliers and service entities as needed to maintain reliability.
