Job summary

Southern Power's Bethel Wind Facility in Castro County, Texas seeks a Wind Site Manager to lead daily operations and a small team of technicians and contractors. You will establish operating procedures, oversee balance-of-plant assets, coordinate outages, monitor KPIs, and ensure regulatory and environmental compliance.

Requires 5–7 years in wind energy, strong leadership, ability to climb towers up to 120 meters, and proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in wind energy.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications.
• Success in instilling a culture of Safety Excellence and foundations of Human Performance.
• Leadership Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-site activities are conducted safely and manage all operations and maintenance for BOP assets.
• Oversee facilities’ operations and maintenance-related contracts.
• Manage warranties as applicable.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting per performance requirements.
• Monitor facility performance against KPIs and coordinate internal/external resources as needed.
