Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a laborer for the Highland Repower Wind Project in Primghar, IA to prepare, handle, and supply materials for craft teams.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, erecting scaffolding, leveling ground, tending mortar and grout, moving materials, cleaning the site, and assisting with concrete work. Experience in construction is preferred, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to operate power and non-powered hand tools and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Duties may change without notice.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend mortar and grout.
• Lift, move, and place mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General cleanup and debris removal.
• Place, push, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete.
• Collaborate with diverse teams on site.
