Job summary

Destructable seeks a Construction Manager to lead wind turbine decommissioning and repower projects from mobilization to closeout, directing site Superintendents and crews to deliver on safety, quality, and profit.

The role reports to the Project Manager, with Amarillo, TX headquarters and project-based field assignments across the United States. Strong leadership and construction management skills are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of heavy civil, industrial, energy, or demolition construction experience, including 3+ years managing projects or multiple Superintendents.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field reporting/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: set safety standards and stop unsafe work; ensure SOPs and certifications are followed.
• Project Execution: direct field operations through Superintendents across all craft areas; manage schedule and resources.
• Cost, Profitability, and Contracts: own budget; track costs; drive projects to ≥20% gross profit; manage change orders.
• Customer and Stakeholder Management: serve as on-site contact for owners/contractors; manage expectations and disputes.
• Quality and Reporting: enforce quality standards; ensure daily reports and KPI data are complete and reported weekly.
• Leadership and Development: mentor Superintendents and crews; contribute to SOP improvements.
