Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Wind Environmental Supervisor to direct the activities of wind environmental technicians and contractors, ensuring safe, compliant operations and efficient project delivery at our wind facilities.

The role requires a strong background in wildlife/environmental work, supervisory experience, and knowledge of federal/state regulations like BGEPA, MBTA and ESA. Travel to project sites and collaboration with operations and regulators are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biological sciences or related field.
• Minimum five years in wildlife field, preferably energy generation.
• Minimum three years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of environmental laws (BGEPA, MBTA, ESA).
• Data gathering, analysis and interpretation; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental and wildlife policies, permits and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day work of wind environmental/wildlife personnel and contractors.
• Coordinate with leadership on implementation and compliance requirements.
• Hold staff accountable to safety, productivity and regulatory standards.
• Oversee avian surveys, environmental monitoring, and curtailment activities at wind plants.
